Aviva Yael is a comedy adjacent writer living in Los Angeles.
After beginning my career in fashion at Diane Von Furstenburg, I became the first Fashion Director at VICE, where I contributed to the magazine’s highly-popular Do’s and Don’ts section, which has since been published in two best-selling books. After serving in editorial positions at various magazines and some massive websites I hated, I wrote No Regrets: The Best, Worst, & Most #$%*ing Ridiculous Tattoos Ever. Published by Grand Central in 2008, the book was widely reviewed and featured everywhere from The New York Times, Nylon, and MTV to Howard Stern and The Onion. Her best and hopefully last day job: Pharrell Williams’ Marketing Director. Currently, she is the Director of Affairs for The International Dimple Relocation Program. She loves being Jewish.
